I was raised an Army Brat, so I have traveled the world and am very familiar with relocating to a new area. I know first hand the emotions that accompany a major transition. Long after my father retired from the Army, my husband, daughter, and I relocated to the Amelia Island, Fernandina Beach, Yulee / Nassau County area in 2006. We instantly fell in love with the area and decided this would be our retirement location. Buying a home at the "top of the market" allowed me to empathize with sellers caught in the recession that followed. I felt their pain and assisted in many Short Sales. And I am happy to say that things have turned around for many. I consider myself to be extremely blessed in that I have been able to maintain "Top Producer" status at a time in our history when real estate sales were bleak.
