Past Business Experience: Aviation: Owned, Operated, and sold 3 aviation companies (1968-1980) - (Fixed Base Operations) with the following: Airplane Dealerships/airplane sales, Cessna, Mooney, and Lake (amphibious) airplanes. Government contract flying (OR, WA and Federal Govt), Charter, aerial photo, aircraft maintenance, aerial application (crop dusting), flight instruction.

Blue Skies Flying club with 400 to 500 club members.

Past Occupations: Aviation - Airline Captain - Retired, 17,000+ hours flight time, flight instructor-airplane single and multi-engine land airplanes, Single engine-sea planes, Rotorcraft-helicopter. Mechanic: Airframe & Powerplant mechanic with Inspection Authorization.

Designated Pilot Examiner (DPE) - FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) - (1 of 1500 worldwide) for certifications for pilot licensees for Private, Commercial and Instrument ratings in airplane-single and multi-engine land airplanes, and Single engine-sea planes.

Designated Written Test Examiner (DPE) - FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) - administer FAA written tests.

FAA Designated Company Pilot Examiner - FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) - to certify company pilots for flying skill and knowledge.

Military Experience: I am a highly motivated and honorably discharged Military Veteran, served in the United States Air Force (USAF) for 6 years as an airplane mechanic/flight crew. As a young man, straight out of High School, I enlisted in the US Air force where I learned discipline and way of life that has served me well in many different areas of my professional and personal life. I have learned to apply the many skills that I gained while on active duty, and since, to accomplish any task set before me regardless of time, the day or season.

Outside Interests: Aviation, Oval track car racing, walking

Personal Information: Born and raised on a farm in central North Dakota until senior in High school and graduated.

Married - H appily married to my wife for 58+ years and together we have two sons and 1 daughter. Grandchildren, dog, Homeowner, Rental Properties-Landlord.
