Patsy Finch

Patsy Finch of Screven County joins ERA Hirsch Real Estate Team in Statesboro, GA as an independent Sales Agent. As the Granddaughter of the late Fred and Evie Gerrald, Patsy has deep family roots in the Bulloch County area. Prior to her new career, she was employed at Sylvania Yarn Systems, Sylvania, GA as assistant to the Personnel Manager. She earned her Master of Cosmetology License from Southern Academy of Cosmetology, Statesboro, GA. She opened her own salon in 1995. While continuing her position as an HR Assistant she operated her salon and sought education in the evenings. Patsy received her Master of Nail Tech Instructor License and later received her Master of Cosmetology Instructor License at Ogeechee Technical College, Statesboro, GA. She gained employment as a cosmetology instructor in the Cosmetology Department at Ogeechee Tech. She later accepted a position at Augusta Technical College, Augusta, GA as Cosmetology Instructor where she retired in January, 2016. During her career at Augusta Technical College she was nominated for the Rick Perkins Award three times and served as the advisor for the National Honor Society for three years.

Patsy continues to operate her salon and enjoys interacting with the residents at Sylview Nursing Home in Sylvania, GA where she sings once a month. She participates in the Grand Ole Opry and the Sampler each year for the Relay for Life in Screven County.

She continues her determination and desire to help others as she joins the ERA Hirsch Real Estate team.
